SUGAR RUSH is an Amsterdam based production company that produces high end story driven content. We like to shake the status quo, address topics that are controversial and we try not to lose a sence of humour in the process.

SUGAR RUSH DOC creates award winning documentaries that challenge your world view and celebrate human progress. We specialize in immersive journalism and factual film: grounded documentaries with a strong scientific basis. Our stories find their ways to a variety of new outlets and online platforms. Well Fed and Bite Me were featured as an interactive story for Al Jazeera. El Pais and The Guardian and toured international film festivals.

SUGAR RUSH FILM focusses on developing original fiction content.

SUGAR RUSH GO is our branded branche. We work on commission for companies who help reduce the general douchness of the world. and look for a new way to integrate visual narratives.  We specialize in long format branded content like we did for Maeckers/Thieme Meulenhoff, where we created 33 short interactive education films for elementary schools troughout the country.  In 2020/2021 we are working on an exciting new project together with FoodHub, telling the story about the future of food for the Floriade 2022 in Flevoland.
